Though promoted to kindergarten-2 class, 12-year-old Esther barely passed her pre-kindergarten class. Her teachers said Esther needs tutoring. Conduct wise, Esther is celebrated in her class and school. With the scholarship, uniform and school supplies support given by GPA, Esther vowed to improve her overall academic performance. We are hopeful that her age, coupled with GPA support, will give Esther the added advantage she needs to focus on improving her studies. Her favorite subject is writing, and she is still living with her aunt at Zorgowee. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds
Thanks to the generous donation from Janice Marshall, Esther has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-1 grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her aunt.
Meet Esther, who has been generously sponsored by an Anonymous donor (Mohamad). She is 10 years old and is in the ABC grade this year. She lives in Zorgowee, Liberia with her aunt. Her father took her to her aunt to live because he could not afford to properly take care of her. Unfortunately, two years ago he died from a snake bite. Her interests are cooking and being with her friends. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
