ESTHER: S190-GEH

November

2023

Esther has achieved a remarkable feat by advancing to the sixth grade! Her hard work throughout the year nearly earned her a double promotion, a testament to her determination and perseverance. Esther’s pride in her accomplishment shines through, and she is determination to succeed this year

In a heartwarming moment, Esther shared her aspiration to one day establish an organization similar to Girl Power Africa, dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young children. Her vision touched our hearts deeply, reaffirming the profound impact of our work in inspiring our students to make a difference in their communities. Sponsored by: Melissa Lozito

Our future humanitarian is well on her way in realizing her dream to be like Bulleh Bablitch-Norkeh, Girl Power Africa founder.  Ester was elected as “Prefect” by her class. She is showing strong leadership skills and academic excellence; two key qualities that will shape her character and potential.  Esther realizes if it weren’t for the humanitarian efforts of others, she might not have gone to school.  Thanks to GPA supporters for helping Esther realize her professional dreams and goals. 2019

Thanks to the generous donation from Suresh Ilangopal, Esther has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. We are sad to report that Esther’s father passed away about 8 months ago from malaria. She’s been strong for her mom and is doing her best to help out around the home and farm.

June 2019

We are pleased to announce that Esther was promoted to the 3rd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Kathleen Golz, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

Meet Ester, who has been generously sponsored by Kathleen Golz. She is 13 years old and in the 2nd grade this year. Esther lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her parents. Her parents are small farmers that cannot afford to send her to school. Esther told Girl Power Africa that she hopes to be like our founder, Bulleh Bablitch-Norkeh, when she grows up so she could help people in need.
