Eltor: S818-FLO

November

2024

Eltor faced a challenging year, as she had to stay home to take care of her grandmother, who was seriously ill. As a result, she fell behind in her lessons and was unable to progress to the next grade level. This meant that Eltor had to repeat the first grade this year. However, despite these challenges, she came back to school with a big, bright smile on her face and a promise to herself: she would pass this year. Eltor remains committed to her education, and her teachers have praised her for being a very good and easy student when she is at school. She is hardworking, follows instructions, and never disrupts the class. Her teachers have noted that she is a joy to have in the classroom, and we are very proud of her for her determination to overcome the setbacks she faced last year. She has promised that this year, her grandmother will not be sick, and Eltor is ready to put in the effort to catch up and pass. We believe in her potential, and we are confident that she will succeed with her hardworking attitude and positive spirit. Sponsored by: Julie Maus

Seven-year-old Eltor is in kindergarten class and lives with his grandmother.  Her mother is in school, and her father disowned her. Her grandmother does subsistence farming and Elton helps out when she can.  Elton’s grandmother is thankful for this gift of a scholarship.
