Cyruson was promoted to the 3rd grade and has been
re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year! He is 12 years old and enjoys school a lot. During his interview, he told us “School is my favorite part of the day”. He frequently visits the “garage” in his town. Village based garages are interesting. Constructed with makeshift materials, a variety of transport vehicles are serviced. He still wants to be a mechanic when he grows up and continues to live with his mother. Sponsored by: Mike Arnold

Thanks to the generous donation from Mike Arnold, Cyruson has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Cyruson was kept in his current grade level of 2nd grade for the upcoming school year. He continues to live with his mother and still wants to be a mechanic when he grows up.
