CYNTHIA: S213-SAN

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Cynthia has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a lawyer when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Cynthia has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a lawyer when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Cynthia has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Cynthia was promoted to the 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Eeyore, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.  

2018:  Meet Cynthia, who has been generously sponsored by Eeyore. She is 16 years old and in the 1st grade this year. Cynthia lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her mother. Since her father’s death in 2013, Cynthia’s mother has been working as a domestic worker making about $25 a month to support she and her 4 children. Cynthia and her siblings have been unable to afford to go to school. Her interests are helping her mom and she hopes to be a lawyer when she grows up.
