CHRISTINA: S1117-SEC

Christina is a 10-year-old girl who is starting the second grade this year. Christina was abandoned by her mother as a young child and has been raised by her grandparents since she was about two years old. Tragically, two years ago, her grandmother passed away, and Christina now lives with her grandfather and two siblings. Her grandfather works hard to care for the family, but with limited income, it has been difficult to provide for the children and afford school. This year, Christina is overjoyed and deeply grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend school through the Girl Power Africa sponsorship program. She is eager to learn, grow, and make the most of this chance, and her grandfather is extremely thankful for the support that is helping secure her future. Sponsored by: Phil Vasby
