CHRISTIANA: S1095-SAN

Christiana is 9 years old and is now in first grade after successfully passing to the next level. She enjoys drawing, spelling, and reading, and shared that her reading skills have improved this year. Christiana feels happy and confident about returning to school and is motivated to do her best in class. She says Girl Power Africa’s support helps her look neat and prepared for school. Christiana dreams of becoming a teacher so she can help other children learn and grow.

Christiana is 8 years old and is in Kindergarten 2. She lives with her mother and her three siblings. Her mother sells peanuts in the local market, making about a dollar profit a day. Despite her efforts, the income is not enough to support the family or send the children to school regularly. Christiana remains hopeful and enjoys learning when she gets the opportunity, but the financial difficulties her family faces make it challenging to attend school consistently.
