November 2023: Twelve-year-old Catherine is in fifth grade. Each year places her closer to her dream of one day becoming a doctor. Catherine continues to live with her parents.
September 2022: Catherine was promoted to fourth grade and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her parents.
September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Silver Leaf Interiors & Laura Groenier, Catherine has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be adoctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother and father.

She is still in the 2nd grade this year due to being very sick most of last year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother and father.

2018: Meet Catherine has been generously re-sponsored by Silver Leaf Interiors and Laura Krelwitz Groenier. She is 7 years old and was promoted to the 1st grade this year. Catherine lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother and father. Her father is unemployed and her mother is was empowerd by Silver Leaf Interior and Laura Krelwitz Groenier with with her own business. Her parents couldn’t afford to send her to school. Her interests are helping her mom to cook and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
