Blessing is now 17 years old and was promoted to the seventh grade this year. She continues to work hard and remains focused on her education, determined to build a better future for herself. Her teacher shares that she is doing extremely well in school and has grown into a very confident young lady. This year, Blessing said her favorite subjects are reading and spelling. She enjoys strengthening her language skills and takes pride in improving each day. Her dedication to learning reflects her strong desire to succeed. At home, Blessing carries significant responsibility. She is now the one who cooks for the family. After school, she runs to the market to buy food, carries it home, and prepares the meal. The family shares their one meal of the day in the evening after she finishes cooking. Despite these heavy responsibilities, she remains committed to her studies and continues to excel academically. Blessing’s confidence and perseverance are shining examples of how opportunity and encouragement can change a life.  Blessing has been promoted to the sixth grade! At fifteen years old, she is determined to break the cycle of poverty through education.
