Blessing is in first grade this year. She still lives with her mother and desire to be a dancer one day. Blessing is often recruited to dance in the traditional dance troupes in and around her village. She is looking forward to another school year and thankful for the gift of a scholarship. Thanks to the generous donation from Dana Cvengros, Blessing has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K2 grade this year and still wants to be a dancer when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Blessing, who has been generously sponsored by Barb Ulichny. She is 7 years old and is going to school for the first time this year. Blessing lives in Lugbeyee, Liberia with her mother. Blessing’s father, who was the primary breadwinner, abandoned the family about 2 years ago. She hopes to be a professional dancer when she grows up.
