Adolphus was promoted to the 1st grade and has been re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year! His teacher reports he is a great student and very smart. He’s a curious boy and likes to ask a lot of questions which often leads to great class discussions. He still wants to be a farmer when he grows up and he continues to live with his parents. Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Adolphus has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Adolphus was kept in his current grade level of K-2 grade for the upcoming school year. He continues to live with his parents and still wants to be a farmer when he grows up.

Meet Adolphus, who has been generously sponsored by Beth Mitchell. He is 7 years old and is going to school for the first time this year in ABC. He lives in Beagonpa, Liberia with his parents whom are both unemployed and couldn’t afford to send their 5 children to school on a regular basis. He hopes to be a farmer when he grows up.
