Abednego faced significant hardship after the passing of his father this year, a loss that deeply affected his family. Despite this, he continues to show resilience and is excited and commitment to his education, remaining focused on school this year repeating K1 with the support of Girl Power Africa.
Note to Sponsor:
This year in Liberia, many public schools conducted a reassessment of students. Based on the results, some children—including your sponsored student—were placed in a lower grade or asked to repeat a grade to better match their current learning level. This adjustment is not due to any wrongdoing or lack of effort—it is simply to ensure they are in the grade where they can learn, grow, and succeed with confidence. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
