January 2024: Fifty year old Yei provides for her two children by growing and selling vegetables.  Her children are now in high school and she envisions with each passing year she will need more income to pay their school fees and buy supplies.  Yei wants at least one of her children to go to college.  What some market women may see as an unattainable goal, Yei searches for resources to improve her market potential.  She approached GPA for a business development grant to help expand her market to buy and sell dry goods.
