This year, we were unable to meet with Samuel during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Samuel is 8 years old and attending school for the very first time this year. Samuel lives with her single, unemployed mother, who has been struggling to support the family. Her father, who is deaf, faces significant challenges finding work in a country that offers limited opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
