Princess is now in first grade and continues to show strong academic promise with the support of Girl Power Africa. She successfully completed kindergarten and performed well, with reading noted as her favorite subject. Princess lives with her mother and siblings, and her family faces significant financial hardship, as her father is incarcerated and her mother works as a farmer to support the household. Despite these challenges, Princess remains motivated and eager to learn. Through the provision of school fees, shoes, and uniforms, Girl Power Africa has made it possible for her to remain in school and focus on her education. Princess hopes to continue advancing to the next grade level and dreams of becoming a computer engineer so she can build a better future for herself and her family.

Princess has been promoted to Kindergarten 2 this year. She still dreams of joining the Army when she grows up. Her favorite activity is going to the creek with her friends to wash clothes. Although she needs extra help at school, her teachers praise her for being incredibly helpful in the classroom. Princess is a kind and hardworking student, always eager to lend a hand to others. Princess has been promoted to the kindergarten-1 class and still dreams of joining the army one day. She continues to live with her parents. Six-year-old Princess lives with her father and stepmother who does subsistence farming to provide for their family. They are thankful for the gift of a scholarship. Princess’ mother died during her birth.  She has five siblings, and her parents struggle to send four of them to school.  Princess was not in the plan for school this year, but GPA provided a safety net of support for her.  Princess is in pre-kindergarten (ABC) class and hopes to join the army one day. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds
