Patrick has been promoted to the 2nd grade and continues to have a passion for drawing. After school, he helps his family on the farm with the day’s work. His family often comes home late in the evening to prepare dinner, and after they finish, Patrick settles down to do his homework. Patrick is seven years old and in kindergarten class.  He lives with his 27-year-old brother because his mother and father abandoned him.  His brother does subsistence farming and also has three children of his own to care for.  Patrick wants to be a tailor one day and is thankful for the gift of a scholarship. Sponsored by: Jane Cree
