This year, we were unable to meet with this student during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it truly makes a difference in their life.

Ophelia is a resilient 10-year-old girl who has faced many challenges in her young life. Four years ago, her father tragically passed away from a snake bite while working on their farm, leaving her mother to care for Ophelia and her three siblings on her own. Living with her single, unemployed mother, Ophelia’s family struggles to make ends meet. Despite her desire to attend school, her education was uncertain for years due to financial hardship. She remained on the waiting list for sponsorship for three long years, holding on to hope. This year, Ophelia’s dream came true—she was finally sponsored to attend school. Her gratitude is immeasurable, and she is determined to make the most of this opportunity.
