January 2024: Kemah is a fifty eight year old widow struggling to provide for her family of ten.  She is a subsistence farmer and grows rice.  Kemah desires to diversify her farming to include growing and selling vegetables.  She needed tools, seeds and other farming supplies and was given a farming supplies package to equip her older children with tools to help full time with the farm work.  Kemah dreams of owning her own house one day and hopes this unified family farm effort will move her family from sustainable to profitable income.
