Josephus: S743-BOA

Josephus is eight years old and lives with his widower father in Boapea, Liberia.  Josephus’ father explained his wife passed away a year ago, leaving him with nine children to care for.  He provides for his family through subsistence farming and is barely able to provide the basics: food and shelter. Only three of his seven school aged children are in school and both Josephus and his dad are thankful for this scholarship opportunity. Josephus will start pre-kindergarten (ABC) and wants to be a doctor.  His favorite thing to do is accompanying his dad on the farm.  Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds
