January 2024: Thirty-nine-year-old Helena provides for her family of seven through subsistence farming.  Her husband is no longer able to assist with the farming activities due to age.  As is the custom in many rural Liberian villages, elderly men can marry younger women, so it is not uncommon to see a thirty-nine-year-old woman married to a man twice her age.  Helena desires to elicit the help of a farming group that applies teamwork to grow and develop each other’s farms.  She requested (and was granted) a farming supplies package to acquire more tools.
