Meet Ezekiel, a resilient 14-year-old who is currently in the third grade. He lives with his loving grandmother, who has taken on the role of caregiver since Ezekiel’s mother abandoned him and his siblings about five years ago. Despite the challenges they face, Ezekiel remains determined to make the most of his education. His grandmother works tirelessly, helping on other people’s farms to provide food for her three grandchildren. Her hard work and dedication inspire Ezekiel to work hard in school and strive for a brighter future. Ezekiel is grateful for the opportunity to attend school and is eager to learn and grow.
