EMMANUEL: S1068-GBE

2025
This year, we were unable to meet with Emmanuel during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it truly makes a difference in their life.

Emmanuel is a bright and ambitious 12-year-old boy currently in the 2nd grade. He lives with his unemployed mother and three siblings in a home where financial struggles are a daily reality. Despite his mother’s best efforts, she finds it difficult to send her children to school regularly, as resources are limited. Emmanuel dreams big. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he confidently says he wants to be a president. His aspirations reflect his desire to make a difference, not only in his life but in the lives of others. This year, Emmanuel took his first steps toward leadership by being elected as his class president, a role that fills him with pride and motivates him to work harder in school. Although life presents many challenges, Emmanuel’s determination and leadership skills shine through. He believes that education is the key to achieving his dream, and his role as class president serves as a stepping stone toward the bright future he envisions. With the right support, Emmanuel has the potential to turn his dreams into reality and inspire those around him. Sponsored by: Kathryn O’Rourke
