ELIZABETH: S1083-GBA

Elizabeth is now 11 years old and has been promoted to the 4th grade this year. We are so proud of her continued progress. Her favorite subject is English, and her teacher describes her as a very hardworking and dedicated student in the classroom. Elizabeth has been through more than most children her age. After being abandoned by her parents and living with her uncle, she has faced many hardships. Yet through it all, she continues to remain kind, respectful, and focused on her education. Her resilience is truly inspiring. After school, Elizabeth goes to the well to fetch water for her family so they can cook and have something to drink. Even with these daily responsibilities, she remains committed to her studies and continues to dream of becoming a teacher one day. Elizabeth’s determination to rise above her circumstances shows her strength of character. We are grateful she has the opportunity to continue her education and move closer to her dreams. Elizabeth is 10 years old and is in the third grade. Her parents abandoned her when she was younger, and she now lives with her uncle. For some time, her uncle was able to send Elizabeth to school, but he was recently involved in a farming accident and has been unable to work for the past year. As a result, Elizabeth is struggling to attend school regularly. Despite these challenges, Elizabeth dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up and is determined to continue her education, hoping for a better future. Sponsored by: Leslie Eisenberg
