Seventeen-year-old Daniel is in seventh grade and dreams of becoming a nurse one day.  He lives with his older sister and her family.  His subsistence farming parents could not afford to send Daniel to school and sent him to live with their older daughter and her family.  Daniel does odd jobs in town but could not earn enough money to sustain his educational journey.  He is thankful for this scholarship opportunity.
