Blessing is now 16 years old and was promoted to the fifth grade this year. Despite the hardships she continues to face at home, she is doing very well in school. Her teacher describes her as a very good student who is focused, respectful, and committed to her studies. This year, Blessing shared that math is her favorite subject. She enjoys working with numbers and challenging herself to solve problems. Not only does she work hard on her own lessons, but she also helps her friends when they need assistance, showing kindness and leadership in the classroom. At home, Blessing continues to live with her grandmother, who cares for her and her siblings with limited resources. She still carries significant responsibilities, including cooking for the family and helping ensure everyone is cared for. Despite these burdens, she remains determined to build a better future through education. Blessing’s strength, compassion, and dedication are truly inspiring. Blessing is 15 years old and is in the fourth grade this year. She tragically lost her mother during childbirth and is now living with her grandmother. Her grandmother took in all of Blessing’s siblings, but with limited funds, she struggles to support the family and send the children to school regularly. Blessing has taken on the responsibility of cooking for her family, ensuring everyone is fed.
