January 2024: Sixty-one-year-old Annie’s husband passed away almost ten years ago and since then she has been struggling to provide for her family of 5.  She has been bartering herself out to work on other people’s farms and barely able to provide the bare household necessities.  Given her age and the hard labor she has been doing over the decades, Annie reached out to GPA for an economic empowerment package to purchase wholesale agricultural products and sell at a profit.  She can do this from her home; thus, reducing the wear and tear on her aging body.  GPA Africa is humbled to walk alongside Annie in her need to provide for her family.
