Angeline: S801-FLO

Angeline was promoted to the second grade this year after successfully completing first grade. She continues to thrive in school, with a particular love for reading. Her teacher has praised her for being very good in class, completing her work on time, and showing a strong commitment to her studies. Angeline dreams of becoming a president when she grows up, a goal that motivates her to work hard in school. After school, she goes home, fetches about 10 gallons of water from the creek, and helps her family with cooking their evening meal, which is their only meal of the day. Angeline’s hardworking attitude and dedication to both her education and her family are truly inspiring. We’re proud of her progress and excited to see all that she will accomplish in the future. Angeline is nine years old and in kindergarten-2 class.  She wants to be the president one day.  She is already exhibiting leadership skills by being elected as her class president.  Her mother died from a snake bite and Angeline resides with her father and stepmother.  She is happy for the gift of a scholarship because her father could not afford to send her to school.
