ANGELINE: S1092-GBA

Angeline is 14 years old and is now in third grade. She shared that she was promoted and is doing well in school, and is now the class secretary. She said being a Girl Power Africa student makes her feel extra good. Angeline lives with her aunt, and she hopes to become a teacher in the future so she can support her family and help others. Angeline is 13 years old and in the second grade. She dreams of becoming a soldier one day. Angeline lives with her stepfather, as her mother abandoned her when she moved out. Her stepfather has seven children of his own, and the family struggles to make ends meet. Due to financial difficulties, her stepfather has been unable to send Angeline to school on a regular basis. Despite the challenges, Angeline remains determined and continues to hope that her situation will improve so she can pursue her education and achieve her dreams. Sponsored by: Jennifer Parker
