January 2024: Forty-eight-year-old Alice is surviving off subsistence farming.    Her husband is too old to continue farming activities and Alice is responsible for the welfare of their family of five children.  Alice has joined a farming co-op of sorts wherein farmers share the responsibility off working on each other’s farm…..a sort of scheduled teamwork.  Alice requested (and was granted) a farming supplies package to acquire more tools.
