January 2024: Fifty four year old Alice does subsistence farming to provide for her eight children.  Alice’s husband abandoned his family and she took courageous ownership of the fact that she must work hard and smart to keep her family nourished and provided for.  Now that her children are older and able to help out on the farm, Alice desires to expand her farm to include more cash crops.  She was given a farming supplies package.
