YOUHN:E1064-BOA

November 2025: Youhn is a 40-year-old single mother of two who has faced judgment and misunderstanding in her community. She used to make soap on a very small scale, but many people saw her staying at home while others went to the farms and assumed she was lazy. In reality, Youhn had always wanted to farm—she knew that farming was where the food and livelihood for her family would come from. When she approached Girl Power Africa for assistance, she was provided with the farming tools she needed and placed in a team of women. Together, they will cultivate a larger farm, share the labor, sell their produce collectively, and support their families. Youhn is beyond grateful and excited for this opportunity. For the first time, she feels empowered to pursue her dream, provide for her children, and show her community her determination and strength. She sends her thanks to all the supporters of Girl Power Africa who make it possible for women like her to put food on their table and build a brighter future.
