YEI: E481-GBL

June 2022:  Yei is a 35-year-old single mother of two teenagers living in
Gbeleyee, Nimba County.  Yei does subsistence farming to provide for her family. 
She shared the story of her husband abandoning his family seven years ago and
since then, she and her two children farm to earn a living.  In the midst of
challenges, she has been able to finance tuition and fees to send her children to
school – a daunting feat considering their humble circumstances.  Yei received a
farming supplies Empowerment Package. A donation from the Girl Power Africa
General Fund has given Yei and her family a hand up.
