Victoria is a 48-year-old widowed mother of children who lives in Sannequillie, Liberia and has never been to school.  Victoria’s husband died during the Ebola epidemic. She said although her husband did not die of the Ebola virus, his death was treated as an Ebola case and she never saw her husband’s body.  “Life has been hell”.  She told the Girl Power Africa team.   Thanks to the generous donation from Mary Thayer, Victoria will be selling food in the local market to help support her family. Thank you for giving Victoria and her family a hand up.
