SUSANNA:E1074-BOA

November 2025:  Susanna is a 37-year-old divorced mother of three children. She shared that she made the difficult decision to leave her marriage because her husband was unfaithful and no longer attentive to their family. Before the divorce, Susanna and her husband had been farmers, but after separating, she found it nearly impossible to continue farming on her own. The work is labor-intensive, and without the proper tools or support, she was unable to move forward. Susanna came to Grow Power Africa seeking assistance and in hope that she could be connected with other women to work together. Through Grow Power Africa, she has been empowered with farming materials and placed in a team of women who will combine their efforts, farm collectively, and support one another. Together, they will grow crops, share the produce, and work toward providing for their families and sending their children to school. Susanna has never had the opportunity to attend school herself—education has only been a dream for her. Her deepest desire is that her children will not face the same hardships she endured. She is grateful for this opportunity and hopeful that, through teamwork and determination, her children will have access to education and a brighter future. Susanna extends her heartfelt thanks to Grow Power Africa and all the supporters who made her empowerment possible.
