PULINE:E1078-BOA

November 2025:  Puline is a 45-year-old divorced mother of five children. She has never had the opportunity to attend school, and after her marriage ended, she became the primary caregiver for four stepchildren from the marriage, in addition to her own child. With so many mouths to feed, Puline shared that supporting her family has been a constant struggle. Farming, which she had done in the past, is incredibly labor-intensive for one person, making it nearly impossible to manage alone. Puline came to Girl Power Africa seeking help. Through the program, she was empowered with farming materials and connected with a team of women to work alongside. Together, they share the labor, farm collectively, and support one another. Puline hopes that with this opportunity, she can put food on the table for her family and begin sending her children to school—something she herself was never able to do. She is extremely grateful for the hand up and the chance to work as part of a team that makes the work lighter and the future brighter. She extends heartfelt thanks to Girl Power Africa and all the sponsors who made this empowerment possible.  To sponsor a woman in need with a one-time $100 tax-deductible gift, please visit: www.girlpowerafrica.org/donate
