PRINCESS:E1071-BOA

November 2025: Princess is a 30-year-old divorced mother of three children. One night, she returned home to find that her husband had packed his belongings and left. Since that day, she has not seen him, and for the past three years, Princess has been left to care for her children on her own. Life has been incredibly challenging. Providing food, stability, and education for her children became a daily struggle. Princess came to Girl Power Africa seeking help, as she shared with us, “just to help me get back on my feet.” Through Girl Power Africa, Princess was empowered with the farming materials she needed and placed into a team of women who work together, support one another, and farm collectively to provide for their families. Having a team has given her strength, encouragement, and renewed hope. Princess has never had the opportunity to attend school, and her greatest fear is that her children might grow up facing the same limitations she did. She is determined to do everything possible to ensure her children receive an education and a brighter future. Princess is deeply grateful for this opportunity and extends her heartfelt thanks to Girl Power Africa and all the supporters who made her empowerment possible.
