November 2025:  Princess is a 40-year-old divorced mother of four whose life has been shaped by resilience, courage, and the determination to provide for her children. After her divorce, she lost access to the materials she needed to continue farming, and this brought her morale very low. Farming alone, especially for a woman, is physically demanding and nearly impossible to manage. Princess came to Girl Power Africa seeking support, not only to farm but also to regain her confidence and sense of pride in her community. Through the program, she has been empowered with farming materials and placed in a team of women. Together, they share the labor, farm collectively, and build a sense of community and accomplishment. This opportunity has lifted Princess’s self-esteem, giving her pride in her work and her role in society. She is extremely grateful for the empowerment, the teamwork, and the chance to provide for her children while feeling proud and confident once again.
