Neomie is a 45-year-old divorced mother of 5 children who lives in Sannequillie, Liberia and has never been to school. Her children are ages 16, 11, 10, 4 and 2 years.  Neomie’s husband of 20 years divorced her because she’s a faithful Christian who has refused to convert to Islam.  Neomie and her children are struggling to make ends meet. She was referred to Girl Power Africa by the pastor of her church.  Thanks to the generous donation from Christine Weigt, Neomie will be selling char-coal in the local market to help support her family.
