MARILINE:E1060-BOA

November 2025: Mariline is a 27-year-old single mother of two whose life has been shaped by resilience and determination. She attended school but had to drop out in the ninth grade because her family could not afford to continue her education. Despite the challenges, Mariline has always dreamed of farming, following in her family’s footsteps as small-scale farmers. Mariline turned to Girl Power Africa for support. She was provided with the farming tools she needed and placed in a team of women in her town. Together, they farm collectively, share the labor, sell their produce, and support their families. While Mariline’s children are still too young for school, she hopes that one day she will be able to send them to school and give them the opportunities she never had. For now, her focus is on providing food for her family and building a stable livelihood. She is deeply grateful for the materials and the support from Girl Power Africa, which have given her hope and the chance to work toward a brighter future.
