MANLIAH:E1073-BOA

November 2025:  Mankiah is a 45-year-old single mother of two children and the primary caregiver for her disabled mother. In the past, Mankiah worked as a farmer, but she shared that farming alone is extremely difficult and physically demanding for one person to manage. With the responsibility of caring for her children and her mother, Mankiah came to Girl Power Africa seeking help with farming materials and the opportunity to work as part of a team. Through Girl Power Africa, she was empowered with the tools she needed and placed into a supportive group of women farmers who work together, share the labor, and support one another as they provide for their families. Mankiah has never had the opportunity to attend school herself, and her greatest wish is to see her children receive an education. At the moment, her children are not in school, but she is determined to change that and give them a future filled with opportunity and hope. Mankiah is deeply grateful for the empowerment she has received and thanks Girl Power Africa and its supporters for helping her take a strong step toward providing for her family and securing a better future for her children.  To sponsor a woman in need with a one-time $100 tax-deductible gift, please visit: www.girlpowerafrica.org/donate
