LOUISE: E484-GBL

June 2022:  Twenty-eight-year-old Louise lives with her husband and two children
in Gbeleyee, Nimba County.  Three extended family members also live in Louise’s
household and she regrets her inability to acquire extra money to send them to
school.  As subsistence farmers providing for a six-member household, most of the
income derived from the farm goes toward providing food and shelter. Any extra is
used for clothing and other essentials.  Louise was excited to receive a farming
supplies Empowerment Package. A donation from the Girl Power Africa General
Fund has given Louise and her family a hand up.
