November 2025:  Lorina is a 47-year-old mother of four whose story reflects sacrifice, resilience, and hope for a better future. A few years ago, Lorina faced a difficult season when her mother became seriously ill. Without hesitation, she used all of her savings to care for her mother and ensure she received the help she needed. Thankfully, her mother recovered—but the financial impact left Lorina unable to get back on her feet. With no remaining resources, rebuilding her livelihood became a challenge. Determined to provide for her children, Lorina came to Girl Power Africa seeking support to begin farming again. With access to farming materials and encouragement, she now has the opportunity to restart her work, rebuild her income, and regain stability for her family. Lorina is deeply grateful for the assistance she has received from Girl Power Africa. She shared that her hope is that after her first year of farming, she will be able to begin sending her children to school—taking an important step toward securing their future.
