KOU:E1061-BOA

November 2025: Kou is a 32-year-old single mother of three who has carried the responsibility of raising her siblings since the passing of her mother. She dropped out of school at the age of 14 to care for her family, and life has been a constant struggle ever since. Despite the challenges, Kou has always dreamed of farming and providing a stable life for her children and siblings. Kou turned to Girl Power Africa for assistance. She was empowered with farming tools and placed in a team of women who work together to farm, share the labor, sell their produce collectively, and support their families. Kou is deeply grateful for this opportunity. With the support of Girl Power Africa and her team, she can put food on the table, provide for her children, and work toward sending them to school—something she never had the chance to do herself. She says, “Thank you, Girl Power Africa, for giving someone like me this opportunity.” To sponsor a woman in need with a one-time $100 tax-deductible gift, please visit: www.girlpowerafrica.org/donate
