Please meet Jacaline who has been empowered by all those who collectively collected food grinders which was headed by Tina Hinchley and Jolene McNamee Ibeling. She is a 40-year-old single woman with 3 children and has a 5th grade education. During the Ebola epidemic in Liberia, Jacaline’s sister died from Ebola. Her family had advised her to not go to see her sister’s body. But Jacaline wanted to make sure that her sister was really dead. Against her family’s advice, she went and saw her sister’s body. Although Jacaline never touched the body, her family put she and her children out of the home and pretty much disowned them because they did not want the stigma to be on the rest of the family.
