HELLENA:E1077-BOA

November 2025: Helena is a 44-year-old widow and mother of four children. In addition to caring for her own children, she is the primary caregiver for her father. Helena shared that when her husband was alive, they worked together as farmers. After his passing, she found it extremely difficult to continue farming alone—the work is physically demanding and requires strength and support. Helena came to Girl Power Africa seeking help, hoping for farming materials and the opportunity to be connected with other women in her community. Through the program, she was empowered with the tools she needed and placed in a supportive team of women who farm together, share the labor, and encourage one another. Helena has never had the chance to attend school, and her deepest hope is that her children will receive the education she never had. She is extremely grateful for the empowerment she has received and looks forward to building a better future for her family. She thanks Girl Power Africa and all the sponsors who make it possible for women like her to stand on their own feet and provide for their children with hope and dignity.
