HAWA:E1058-BOA

November 2025:  Hawa is a 39-year-old divorced mother of four whose life has been shaped by resilience, sacrifice, and determination. She had been managing her farming well until one of her children became seriously ill. In order to pay for her child’s care, Hawa had to pawn some of her essential farming materials, which left her unable to continue working the land on her own. Hawa turned to Grow Power Africa for assistance. Through the program, she received replacement farming tools and was placed in a team of women. Together, they farm collectively, share the labor, sell their produce, and use the income to provide for their families. Hawa has never had the chance to go to school herself, and her greatest dream is to send her children to school and provide them with the opportunities she never had. She is deeply grateful for the support of Grow Power Africa and her team, which allows her to put food on the table, secure her children’s future, and rebuild her farming livelihood.  To sponsor a woman in need with a one-time $100 tax-deductible gift, please visit: www.girlpowerafrica.org/donate
