EVELYN:E1053-MAO

November 2025: Evelyn is a 39-year-old divorced mother of two who has opened her heart and home to eight additional children, raising them alongside her own. Farming was Evelyn’s livelihood with her husband, but after her divorce, the demanding work became too difficult to manage alone. Seeking support, Evelyn turned to Girl Power Africa for assistance. Through the program, she received the farming materials she needed and was placed on a team of women. Together, they are cultivating a larger farm, sharing the labor, selling their produce collectively, and dividing the proceeds to support their families. Evelyn is deeply grateful for this opportunity. One of the things she values most is being able to provide education for the children in her care, something she herself never had the chance to experience. She is overjoyed at the possibility of sending them to school and giving them a brighter future. Evelyn sends her heartfelt thanks to Girl Power Africa and all the supporters who made this possible. With teamwork, empowerment, and community, she is now able to provide for her family and create hope for the next generation.
