November 2025:  Esther is a 56-year-old widow and mother of five whose life has been shaped by hard work, resilience, and dedication to her family. She shared that she and her late husband used to farm together, but after his passing, she found it nearly impossible to continue on her own. The heavy labor of cutting trees and managing the farm alone was too much for her to handle. Through Girl Power Africa, Esther has been empowered with farming materials and partnered with a team of other women. Together, they are able to share the hard work, farm collectively, and sell their produce to support their families. Esther is grateful for this opportunity and is especially motivated by the hope of sending her children to school—a dream she is determined to make a reality.
