November 2025:  Esther is a 48-year-old widow and mother of three children. She was married to her husband for about 15 years, and together they built their life through farming. One tragic night, while returning from the farm, her husband stepped on a snake. Despite receiving treatment, he never recovered, and Esther was left to face life on her own. After his passing, Esther struggled to regain her footing. With no steady means of income, her children were forced to stay out of school. Determined to rebuild her life, Esther came to Girl Power Africa seeking assistance so she could return to farming and provide for her family. Esther has never had the opportunity to attend school herself, and her greatest desire is to ensure that her children do not face the same reality. Through Girl Power Africa, she has been empowered with farming tools and placed in a team of women who will work together, encourage one another, and farm collectively to support their families. Esther is extremely grateful for this opportunity and is hopeful that, through teamwork and hard work, she will soon be able to send her children back to school and secure a brighter future for them.
