Esther is a 15-year-old single mother of 1 child who lives in Sannequillie, Liberia and has never been to school. Esther’s father who was her primary source of financial support passed away during the Ebola epidemic when she was 10 years old. She was left to fend on her own. When Esther was about 9 months pregnant, the father of her baby had disowned the pregnancy and has moved to another city. Now that the baby is born, she has come to girl Power Africa to help her with a business to help support her and her daughter.  Thanks to the generous donation from Julie Travia, Esther will be selling donuts in the local market to help support her family. Thank you for giving Esther and her baby a hand up.
